Worlds smallest camcoder packs a punch

Sony's latest camcoder, the HDR-TG1, is said to be the world's smallest, lightest and slimmest 1920 x 1080i Full-HD camcoder to date. Don't let the compact size fool you, though, for underneath the recorder's pure titanium shell and Carl Zeiss Vario - Tessar Lens are found the latest in Sony's AVCHD technology which allows compression of full - HD recordings to a smaller size - as well as a 1/5" ClearVid CMOS Sensor for higher resolution and lower noise levels. HDR - TG1 also comes equipped with exciting features such as face detection, D-Range optimizer (to effectively adjust exposure and contrast) and smooth slow recording. For the audio aficionado, the built-in zoom microphone and Dolby Digital Surround Sound offer exceptional sound quality even from a distance.
